Dying To Be Me: My Journey From Cancer, to Near Death, to True Healing, by Anita Moorjani. This amazing book details the story of Anita Moorjani, who was losing a four-year battle with a lymphoma type cancer, went into a coma and was not expected to live through the night. She very nearly didn’t live through the night. In fact, she crossed over to the other side while in her coma. What could have been the end, however, turned into a “visit” instead when she decided to return to her body and her family. She came back with all kinds of information about reality, illness and healing — including an understanding of what caused her own cancer. The incredible thing was that, within just days of her coming back to consciousness, all of Moorjani’s lemon-sized tumors throughout her body completely disappeared spontaneously, without treatment! Something about her near-death experience cured her. Moorjani does not relate her story from any particular religious affiliation, but she does explain what she learned in the spirit realm and why she believes her cancer then left her body. A belief-system changer! For more go

Shaman, Healer, Sage: How to Heal Yourself and Others With the Energy Medicine of the Americas, by Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D. A psychologist and medical anthropologist, Dr. Villoldo spent almost 30 years studying the healing practices of the Amazonian and Inka Shamans. Throughout his numerous books, including this one, Dr. Villoldo does a wonderful job of explaining what shamanism is and the power of its unique approaches to heal the body, mind and spirit. From his books, one learns about the connection between illness and spirit, mind, chakras, and karma — all concepts that appear to be part of shamanistic thinking around the world. There are many more shamans around the U.S. than one would think, and it is often possible to get healing sessions that may greatly aid a cancer patient’s recovery. Well worth looking into! The Energy Cure: Unravelling the Mystery of Hands-On Healing, by Dr. William Bengston and Sylvia Fraser. This is one of the most fascinating books ever written. It presents the story of how one professor of sociology worked with a naturally talented healer for many years to come up with a unique method of energy healing that could be taught. He then PROVED it worked by teaching student volunteers who participated in numerous university-based studies on mice with cancer. Not only were virtually all of the mice cured of their cancer in each study, but they would NOT get cancer again after treated with this type of energy healing — even when injected once more with a deadly strain of cancer cells! Dr. Bengston found his approach could completely heal cancer in humans as well, but also found that chemotherapy interfered with results. He gives workshops in which he teaches his very interesting approach, but read the book first. Bengston’s book and workshops do not deal with spirituality of any kind. He prefers to focus on the energy work itself from a scientific point of view and simply invites people to look at the phenomenon of energy healing with a skeptical, yet open mind. Anyone interested can learn this technique and then use it to help heal their own pets, friends, and family members. This is part of the medicine of the future! For more go to:
